Playroom Horror

Inspired by the movie Alice in Wonderland

This photograph reflects the idea of hidden horror masked by innocence and youth. Each object placement has a meaning to it and displaces the idea of young childhood with bright objects and child like things such as toys and a play table but the objects also have details that represent the darkness that is hidden underneath. I want to communicate that the idea of art can cause disturbance when the truth is revealed and this piece displays that disturbance when people see things reflecting their childhood but taken and made to make them uncomfortable.
